July 4th Taste of Chicago (Organizing)
Come celebrate the 4th with Obama for America! The Obama for America campaign is organizing a large volunteer effort at this year’s Taste of Chicago in Grant Park. Volunteers will meet at the Oak St. Beach Café tent at noon (Tent #49, on the south end of the event) in order to gather into groups and receive assignments. Please dress comfortably and be prepared to spend the afternoon on your feet, walking around the park. Volunteers who are interested in obtaining his/her own Obama T-shirt and/or other official gear can acquire these items at the meeting place before groups are dispersed throughout the event.
